Dear Andrew Sibbald Families,

 

We hope all of your families are doing well during this busy time of year! We know many of you are busy with ringette, hockey and other commitments as well as preparing for the holiday season. Staff and students are hard at work here at Sibbald engaged in classroom learning and are really enjoying preparations for the upcoming Winter Concerts. Thanks to all the parents who were able to rebook conferences. We hope you all enjoyed connecting with your child’s teacher.

 

Community in Motion- Winter Concert Tickets

Please note that the tickets for the Winter Concerts, “Community in Motion” will go home early this week. If you have requested extra tickets, they will be included. At this time, our Tuesday show is completely ‘sold out’. We do have a few extra tickets for Wednesday’s show. Please know that we have done our very best to honor as many requests for extra tickets as we could, based on fire safety codes for our gymnasium.

 

As a reminder – we are hosting evening performances only this year. We are grateful to our staff for hosting these two evening shows and the efforts from both staff and students during such a busy time of year.

 

Huge thank you & shout out to Mrs. Odegard for her creativity and efforts! Miss Kat from SoundKreations has also been fabulous in her teaching of Hip Hop. We really hope you enjoy seeing what the students have learned during the residency and as always, enjoy the beautiful singing voices of our Grades 3-5 Choir.

 

Sibbald Spirit Week – Dec 15-19th

Our Grade 5 Student Voice crew has picked out some fun Spirit Days for the last week of school:

 

  • Monday 15th – Red & Green Day
  • Tuesday 16th  – Fun & Cozy Sweater Day
  • Wednesday 17th  – Wacky Hair/Headwear Day
  • Thursday 18th  – Character Day (dress like your favorite holiday character)
  • Friday 19th  – PJ Day (stuffies must fit in a backpack)
