School Council Update  

Thank you to the parents who joined us for the School Council Meeting last Wednesday. We look forward to meeting again on February 7^th. During the meeting we shared information about our school development plan, specifically related to supporting student wellbeing at Andrew Sibbald. Ideas for the School Council Grant provided by the government to support parent engagement within our school were also discussed. We look forward to solidifying these plans and will continue to keep you updated. We are grateful to our Parent Association for their approval of buying some new robots for K-2 students' use along with some of our other wish list items for Sibbald students. CBE Knowlege Keeper Hal Eagletail to Visit Andrew Sibbald School   

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, we will welcome CBE Knowledge Keeper and member of the Northern Dene TsuuT’ina Nation, Hal Eagletail to our school to visit classrooms. We are grateful for the opportunity to have him here at Sibbald.  

French Discovery Day – Grade 6  

Thanks to Mrs. Gordon, Mrs. Drever, and Madame Veltkamp for organizing the field trip to David Thompson School on Wednesday morning where students will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in French culture and learning for the morning. Thanks to the parents who are volunteering for this field trip.
