Thank you for joining us to honor Remembrance Day 

Thank you to the families who were able to join our Remembrance Day assembly. We are proud of the Grade 3 and Grade 6 students and teachers for their thoughtful and dignified honoring of Remembrance Day. Please see our Grade 3 Teachers blogs this week for some snapshots of both the learning shared and the assembly.  

Thank you, also, to Ms. Harris and the choir students for their beautiful voices and songs shared. We will continue to collect non-perishable food donations for the Veterans Association Food Bank into December. Thank you! 

Parent Teacher Conferences – November 23rd and 24th  

On the evening of Thursday, November 23rd between 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and the morning of Friday, November 24th between 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., teachers will meet with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and next steps in learning. Kindergarten conferences will take place all day Thursday November 23rd and on Friday, November 24th between 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. There will be no impact to kindergarten student learning on Thursday – students in the Tues/Thurs class attend school.  

Conferences offer a formal opportunity for you as parents to meet one-on-one with the classroom teacher, view current work samples, and see your child’s learning space. Booking begins Wednesday, November 15th at 9:00 a.m. through your MyCBE PowerSchool account.  

A Few Things from Parent Association...  

City and Country Wine Event Fundraiser for Parents - There are still a few tickets available for the event coming up on Friday, November 17th hosted by our Parent Association.  

Winter Wreath and Plant Fundraiser – please complete your orders by Monday, November 20. Pick up will take place on November 28.
