Dear Andrew Sibbald families,  

I hope you had a wonderful long weekend! 

Please note, in alignment with CBE's emergency preparedness plan, we have our second Lockdown Drill of the school year scheduled for Wednesday this week. Safety is important in our school community and in all CBE schools; this is an opportunity for staff and students to practice emergency drill procedures with the support our of Calgary Police Service lockdown team. This support helps to ensure we are following best practice.  

As a reminder, I would ask all families with children currently in kindergarten to Grade 4 to ensure they have completed the following form.  This will allow us to best plan, staff, and schedule for the 2026-27 school year. Thank you to those who have submitted the form. If you have not, please do so ASAP.

School Dance 

The school dance is this Thursday, from 6-8pm.  Families can choose from a 6pm or 7pm time slot; tickets will be first come, first serve. If you would like to attend, please sign up for a time slot at the following link: Superhero Spring Dance Sign Up.  

Spring Plant Sale 

The Spring Plant Sale is underway! Pick-up will be on May 8. Please watch for a follow-up email for details on how to purchase, etc. Please note, to receive that email, you need to be subscribed to commercial messages from CBE. To do so, please go to the following link.
