Dear Andrew Sibbald School families, What a great first week! I appreciate the warm welcome from staff, students, and families. Despite the chilly temps and indoor recess time, I had a great chance to connect with the community. We have a busy week ahead with report cards being sent home and Parent Teacher Conferences. Please make sure you book to meet with your child’s teacher. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about what your child is learning and their progress. Please make sure you stop to say hello when you are in the school. Kindergarten families, for your daytime conferences on Thursday, please enter the school through the main entrance. Here are some reminders and updates: Book Fair Volunteers Needed! We are hosting a book fair in the Learning Commons February 26 & 27. The book fair will run during the school day on Thursday then during Parent Teacher Conferences. To support this, Mrs. Norman is looking for volunteers that would work a shift or two. If you’re interested, please contact Mrs. Norman at janorman@cbe.ab.ca Ordering School Spirit Wear Our Parent Association is hosting a spring spirit wear sale. There is a variety of designs to choose from this year, and clothing choices include, shirts, hoodies and even some new hats! Orders will be due Friday, February 27, 2026, and items will be delivered to school the week before Spring Break. It is completely optional to purchase, but a great way to show your school spirit! All purchases are completed online at the following link: https://andrewsibbald.myshopify.com/

Grade 4 and 5 parents, please share your thoughts and perspectives! The survey will be open until early March. More information is provided in a link on our school website.
