Dear Andrew Sibbald families,  

Thank you for your support for our Trickster Theatre residency last week!  I was impressed with our student’s performances, the support of our volunteers and the dedication of our staff. What a wonderful sense of community! 

Thank you to those who have reached out with questions about our new designation as a secondary overflow location for Mahogany School.  I will continue to update families as I learn more about what this means for our school community. At this stage it will be welcoming a handful of regular program Mahogany students who cannot be accommodated at Mahogany or Bayside Schools due to space and size.  

As we spring ahead an hour this weekend, here are some updates for families.  

School Dance 

This year’s school dance will be held on April 9 from 6-8pm.  Families can choose from a 6pm or 7pm timeslot. Tickets will be available starting March 30. Tickets will be available, first come, first serve. Stay tuned for more details.  

Grade 5 Farewell & Transition Planning 

Save the date! Our grade 5 farewell will be held on June 23, 2026, at 1:30pm.   

Grade 5 parents, please note that school enrollment is based on address and for our Lake Bonavista families, Nickle School is our designated school for middle years. Their open house is on the evening of June 7, 2026. To further support the transition to middle school, students will have the opportunity to visit Nickle, and our teachers will be working closely with the Nickle staff to ensure a well-supported transition. We will share dates and details as we know them.
