Andrew Sibbald has many special things happening on Pink Shirt Day this year! As you know, our Gr. 1-3 students have been learning about some of the Health and Wellness outcomes and emotional literacy through their puppet residency. On February 28th, throughout the day, our Gr. 1-3 teachers have scheduled short celebrations of learning to share with their buddies and their parents. Our Gr. 5/6 student voice group has decided that they would like to organize a bake sale to support the Canadian Mental Health Association. Thank you to our student voice group in advance for their contributions to the bake sale. Parents – a hard copy information slip went home last week around the request for donations – thank you! The sale will take place on February 28th and all classrooms will have a scheduled time to purchase something from our student voice members. All baked goods will be $1.00 or $2.00. All baked goods will be nut free and there will be some gluten free options available. Thank you for your support with this!
