This week, on Wednesday, we look forward to celebrating Pink Shirt Day. Here’s a short video about the purpose of Pink Shirt Day if it is new to you or your family.  If your child doesn’t have a pink shirt, that’s okay, they can wear red or something else that is pink.  

Thank you to our Gr. 5 and Gr. 6 Student Voice members who are organizing a special bake sale on Wednesday the 28th in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association. Reminder, if your child is part of Student Voice and you wish to donate to their bake sale, please send it on the 27th or first thing on the 28th. Thank you! All items will be sold for $1.00 or $2.00 so please send along a loonie or a toonie if on Wednesday if you would like your child to purchase a treat. Please note that we won’t be able to make change for large bills. Thank you for your understanding.  

Lastly, we are super excited and proud of some of our other Student Voice members who are organizing the creation of a kindness needle-felted quilt. All our students will be contributing to it in some way with buddy classes. Stay tuned!
