For the 2024-25 school year, as a school, we committed to offering students learning opportunities at Fish Creek Park. The purpose of this learning was to explore land-based learning opportunities through the lens of Science Curriculum and Indigenous ways of knowing and understanding (Two-Eyed Seeing). As we look ahead to 2025-26, we will be engaging in both collective and grade-team actions that continue to support Andrew Sibbald students’ sense of responsibility and respect for land based learning. This year however, we will focus on caring for our Learning Grounds and becoming knowledgeable about the plants, trees and living creatures within it.
