Social Action & Citizenship at Sibbald  

Our Kindergarten, Grade 3 and Student Voice members in Grades 4 and 5 participated in a presentation from The Mustard Seed last week. There, students heard about how they can help Calgarians impacted by homelessness, poverty, and food insecurity. Specifically, students learned about using respectful (“people first”) language, becoming informed and donating items to clients of The Mustard Seed. Students were also given information about the importance of healthy food donations for the clients of The Mustard Seed. Thank you to Ms. Hayes, Mrs. Swanson, and Mrs. Braun for organizing this for our students.
