We wrapped up our Art Felt Residency this week. The team at ArtFelt Studios were fantastic, we were so impressed with their programming! The students were engaged and made some beautiful art which will be displayed at school and then sent home. Thank you to our Parent Association for supporting this residency and a big thank you to our volunteers who made a huge impact with their help.

Picture Re-takes
Picture retakes are Wednesday, October 21. Any Tuesday/Thursday kinders who are interested in picture retakes are asked to come by the school between 8:30-9:30am on Wednesday, October 21. This morning is the only time that the photographers are scheduled to be at Sibbald for re-takes.
All other students will be called down by grade for retakes. If the students are able to bring their original proof sheet, the photographers appreciate this.
Individual Program Plans (IPPs)
If you received an IPP for your child we ask that you please review, sign the signature page and return this to their teacher. Thank you to those who have sent the signature page back already.
Safety and Security Reminder
A reminder that all exterior school doors are locked during the day. All visitors to the school must enter and exit using the front door, ensuring they check in at the main office.
For the safety and security of our school community, visitors are not allowed past the office area and in learning spaces unless they are signed in as a volunteer or accompanied by a staff member.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser - Message from Parent Association
Our cookie dough fundraiser is underway! Order forms and information sheets went home and orders are due by October 30. Students seem excited about the prizes, and many are already working hard selling that delicious dough.
REMINDER: Your buyers should not be using the QR code on the order form to submit orders to us directly. Please collect payment from your buyers in the method of your choice (cash, e-transfer, etc.) and only use the QR code to submit one order to us for all cookie dough your student sold. If you are aware of any orders that were submitted to us directly from a buyer, please reach out to us at fundraising@sibbaldparents.ca and we will ensure the orders are correctly linked to your student.
Halloween Dance - Message from Parent Association
Join us on October 29th for our Halloween Dance! Students and families are invited to wear their favorite costumes and enjoy music, dancing, and spooky fun. Tickets are free but due to school capacity limits, we are required to split the event into two time slots.

Families are invited to bring a non-perishable food item for the Veterans Food Bank.
